I can hardly believe it... I leave for Ireland in 9 days! I have already packed most of my luggage and everything fits with some room to spare for souvenirs. I leave June 2nd and fly out of Chicago. Luckily at orientation I found a girl that is driving from La Crosse who can give me a ride because I know there is no way my mom would ever consider driving me there. She won't even drive in the cities :o( Anyway, I am pretty excited but with work it hasn't quite set in as reality.
Speaking of work, I started back at W15 in the clinic on May 16th. Nothing much has changed there which is nice because it didn't take too long to get use to things again. Most the patients have been very pleasant. Can't wait to have my first cranky person who chucks things at me... haha. Always a fun story to tell even if it sucks while it is happening.
I don't think I have shared my most exciting news with you all yet. Well, on Mother's Day I took my Mom to Treasure Island Casino with my Aunt and two cousins for a fun day of gambling. I am really cheap when it comes to gambling so I didn't spend any money, but I did enter in a drawing that was held throughout the day. At 1, 2, 3, and 4 pm they would call names for $500, $750, $1000, and $3900. When I was returning from the bathroom after drinking my weight in complimentary diet Pepsi I heard my name called over the loud speaker at 3 pm!!! I won $1000!!!!!! I must have had the craziest looks on my face, but I wasn't with anyone so know one saw my expression :( Anyway, now I have some extra spending money for my Ireland trip! :o)

That has to be the most perfectly timed $1000 ever. I hope it's an omen that you're going to have a good time in Ireland.
