Hmm... I don't really know what to say. Same old things are happening with me. I guess there is some small news... I, Abby, went out on a blind date last Friday night! *gasp* I know it is amazing... Almost shocking. At 9:00 I went on a double date at a bowling alley :) A woman I work with set me up with her nephew Adam, and she and her husband joined us bowling. It was a little awkward at first, but it went surprisingly well. Adam is 25 and a farmer, so we didn't have much in common to talk about though, so Sandy (the woman I work with) and I did most of the talking. We could always resort to talking about work. Anyway, I thought that might amuse you all.
Sunday I got to game with Lizard, Mara, Sue, and Betsi. It was good to see them a lots of fun :) We had to fight some shrubs and a couple of goat people :) Pretty exciting stuff!!
Unfortunately the camping event has been rescheduled to Monday the 17th so I won't be able to go :( That might be an ok thing though because this weekend is suppose to be unbareably hot. I don't think we would want to even have a campfire with that type of heat... and sitting around the open flames is my favorite part of the whole camping experience! I think it is suppose to be really hot the beginning of next week too, so that may not be very pleasant for those able to go camping. I hope it cools down for their sake.
Next Thursday I am going up to our cabin in WI with my mom and cousins! I get Friday off too... it is like a mini vacation!! yeah! Never thought one day off from work would be so exciting!! Anyway, we are leaving Thursday night after I get off from work. I am sure we will toodle around the area, maybe go to Hayward where they have the greatest candy store ever! Then on Friday evening, I am going to drive over to Wausau to see Sara for her and Phil's engagement party. Staying over night... and then getting up early to go Bridesmaid dress shopping. Saturday afternoon I am going to drive back to the cabin to spend a little more time with the cousins. It is going to be a very busy weekend... not as relaxing as I would like it to be.
Monday night I saw Pirates with the neighbor girl's and one of their friends. I thought it was pretty good, but I like the first movie a little better. The story line wasn't as good as the first, but I thought it had a little more humor in it. And of course Johnny Depp looked great in his make-up!! hahhaha I don't know what it is about him in Pirate attire, but man he looks good :) hehehe I was also disgusted with some of the "kissing" going on if you know what I mean?!?! (for those of you who have seen it)
While I write this I am at work, and guess what!?!?! I am over half done! Yeah! Sadly that also means summer is also half gone. At least I have a couple weeks at the end of August to pretend it is summer. Have great day!

I just saw the Pirates of the Carribean movie and I too thought that there was a very unnecessary scene... on that ship... and even though cap'n jack is pretty gosh darn cool, Will is so honorable and sweet!!! It's all... grrr. you know?!??! Also I hope you had a great time on your mini-vacation. I'm coming back to minnesota in August, maybe it's when you're already done with work and you'll want to hang out a lot, all the time, and make lots of cookies perhaps? :)

I am done with work on the 18th of August! However, I am going up to our cabin in WI for the following week. Not sure how long our stay will be up there. Hope to see you lots when you come to visit!
