This is not summer!

You lucky part time workers! I am getting dang tired of working 40 hours a week!! Do you know how depressing it is when you only have 4 hours a night to say, "gee, I don't have to work now, but dang I will be getting up at 5:15 to do it all over again." IT SUCKS!!! And I don't use that word lightly folks. So, I work 40 hours last week, and then on Saturday I clean the house, pick strawberries, and make a pie and jam. Now, I do love to be in the kitchen, but it was basically working from 8 am to 6 pm on Saturday. Thank goodness I had Sunday to relax for a little while. My mom has even said that I have it pretty rough this summer... Which is really something since she isn't one to sympathize when it comes to working. Hell, I figure I do 12 hour days since I have to get up at the butt crack of dawn to get taken to work when my mom goes, where I work out and then shower and walk straight to work. I am sorry people if I don't always feel like doing stuff, but I basically go 5am to 5pm most days. 12 times 5... its like 60 hours a week! Kill me now... I have 8 more weeks to go I think. Ahh!!! Sorry for the complaining. Have a wonderful week all those who have time to relax and have fun!

Wow... the whole butt crack of dawn comment really brings out the angry feeling... nice writing. ;)

Really, I believe that much work truly must suck. It sounds like it's almost better to just give up and be broke. Then, if you found a nice bridge to live under as a bum, we would have a lot of space to play DnD. You know... under the bridge.

I don't know if this is a terrible suggestion, because it is pretty far (although you could take the bear creek bike path most of the way, which is a nice path), you could bike to work and back. And biking would count as working out. Then at least you wouldn't be stranded.

Hope to see you this week. =)

Yeah, sometimes I would like to say I am just going to call it quits, but my mom would throw a fit... and I guess I can blame her for that. However, living under a bridge could be quite an adventure. I don't think there are any murders in Rochester who would pick me off while I was sleeping ;) Biking would be a good alternative if it was a nice day (not 100 degrees or raining really hard... light mist might be nice however!) Yeah... well I really hope we can see eachother at some point this week. Wednesday seems to be the day with the most possibility.

If nothing else, you get to be the first one with a "real job." I think at the end of summer you should definitely take a few weeks off before going back to school to relaaaax. Think you could get your mom to agree to that?

Well, if you get a job at Mayo for the summer you have to stay a certain amount of time. I have to work until the 3rd week of August. So, at least I will have 2 weeks to relax, which is something. I think you should still be able to get time off though, maybe a few days spread out through the summer, but no :( They can't do that!!!
