A minute takes an hour to pass. An hour takes a day! It seems so sad that at the end of the school year I just kind of wish away the time. That whole story about living the moment and enjoying the "now" is a lot more difficult to follow than people let on. How many of us glory in the time of embarrassment or betrayal. Or during a 2 hour exam that is kicking your rear end? I mean I want to be like those easy going people that don't have a care in the world, but I guess I am just not made out to be that way :(
Tomorrow I get to go home for the summer at 11:00 am... exactly 23 hours and 53 min. for now! I am really excited about the whole idea, but I will definitely miss my peoples, especially Sara, who is leaving this afternoon. I am sure I will go and visit her this summer though, so it won't be so long. She is going to have a little "wedding party" get together that I will definitely be going to.
I have 2 more exams left, stats and small group communications. Stats is this afternoon, and I am not too worried about it. And then tomorrow morning at 7:45 I have my other final which should be "easy as pie" or "a piece of cake"! I think I will be baking when I get home ... hehehe! After that I am packing up and hitting the road.
I can't remember if I put this in my last entry, and I am too lazy to check, but I have a car!!! I get the "old lady buick" and my mom is getting a new Honda Civic, which I will get in a couple of years when the insurance goes down. I can't believe how much car insurance really is. It is crazy! Anyway the new car is going to be so cool! It is atomic blue and the EX model! It has a moon roof!!! That was the most exciting feature of the whole car in my opinion :)
Anyone going on any big summer vacations? I doubt I will be vacationing. Since I am working at Mayo, they don't give vacation for summer workers, but at least I will always have the weekend and evenings :) It makes me a little sad because this summer isn't going to be as relaxing as summers before, but I will be making some money.
Recently, I have been trying to switch my meal plan for next year. I am living in the dorms again, and it is policy that if you live in the dorms you must have some form of a meal plan. They have meal plans where you can get 10, 14, or 19 meals per week, or a block plan where you buy 50 meals for the whole semester. I want to get a block plan because you can eat any place on campus at any time, where as meal plans have many limits that stink! So, last week I went in to sign a waiver to be on block plan. Now, it is important to understand that for the past few years there are certain requirements for block plan participants. You must be either a junior, living off campus, married, or 21. Well, I am going to be a junior so I thought every thing would be good to go. Not the case! Since UWL built a dorm/suite/apartment they decided everyone must be on a meal plan unless you are in this new building! I am so mad!!! A meal plan costs $1000 a semester while a block plan only costs $250. I don't even eat all my meals now, and I figured out that because I don't eat all my meals I am paying $9 per meal! $9 for a nasty old sub?!?! I don't think so! Any way, that is enough of that!
See you all in a day or so! Good luck on finals!

I agree about meal plans being a rip off. I mean, I pay the same for my sandwich and two beverages as the guy in line next to me pays for his 2 sandwiches, french fries, soup, burrito, and 4 glasses of pop. Grrrr. Stupid meal plans.
And You get a car!!!!!!
So exciting!!!!
