What has the world come to?

Well, I am watching the "Today" show this morning and something very interesting was on, and to me a little disturbing. Apparently the owner of Dominos Pizza is planning on building a town in Florida that is going to be "Catholic". Ok, I am Catholic and this whole idea is terrifying. I believe a lot in my religion, but I also disagree with all the different intolerances it expresses. This town apparently will discourage contraceptives, same sex relationships, premarital relationships... And on and on. Don't you think that kind of totally disregards the constitution?? I mean... Are only Catholic going to be allowed into the town? Isn't that considered discrimination? Well, Gov. Jeb?? Bush is all in favor of it. He is a Catholic... Surprise surprise. Anyway, I thought it was necessary for you all to be aware of what is happening in our own country. I guess the town will be finished in late 2007. Life has been decent otherwise. Last week was really bad though. I had a terrible test on Wed. In Epidemiology and then that night a boy 3 floors up in my dorm committed suicide in his room :( It was really sad... And really affected the dorm atmosphere and for good reason. It brings so much from the past back to the memory... Which is never a pleasant experience. This week however was much better. I got my exam back that I thought I did terrible and found out I got an "A", that made the rest of my week wonderful. I went to a wedding over the weekend too. It was an outdoor wedding and beautiful... Even though it was a little chilly. The food and cake at the reception was amazing. I am always excited about food :) There were at least 3 different flavors of cake. I tried two and they just melted in your mouth. I am really excited about Spring Break because Becca and I are going to Hope to pick Sue up for her Spring Break. I can't wait. The drive is going to pretty long though... 9 hours I guess. Hopefully Chicago isn't to crazy to drive through. I hope Becca is planning on driving through there! Well, I am going to get some pancakes :) I always have pancakes on Friday to celebrate the weekend! hehehe
